Mr. Scott Douglas Redmond is an exceptionally talented Operations Manager, Project Lead Executive, Business Strategist, Product Developer, and Strategic Visionary with over 30 years of experience in diverse industries including telecommunications, start-ups, healthcare, information services, automotive, defense and aerospace, biotechnology, law enforcement, marketing, renewables and environmental. He participated in, and led executive management teams through: technology product development, reorganization, integration, transformation, re-engineering, market research, product launches, and operational improvements.
Scott holds 12 patents and has twenty-two applications pending for technology products covering methods and apparatus, systems, and architecture for: Peer-to-Peer internet media and file delivery energy storage systems, broadcast electricity, electronic propulsion vehicle systems, wireless media access, touchscreen telephone and mobile music devices and electric vehicle hot swap energy packs. He has received numerous awards and commendations as an innovator, accomplished executive leader, and manager who delivers operational excellence.
His record of accomplishments and technological expertise overshadows his academic education. He earned a BA degree from San Francisco State University and audited specialized courses at Stanford University and the University of California at Berkeley. He is affiliated with more than 50 groups, organizations, and associations.
His honors and awards include the Scientist Helping America recognition from DARPA, who is the central research and development organization of the Department of Defense. Scott also earned a Congressional Commendation and a Federal Energy Grant Award for an energy storage invention and received a commendation from White House, State governments and numerous mayors.
Other recognitions include a Fast 50 nominee, a Forbes 50 fastest growing technology companies nomination; a Tech Award nominee from San Jose Tech Museum, which recognizes individuals and organizations for their technological contributions to improving the human condition; and a top ranking in MENSA, the high IQ society that identifies and fosters human intelligence for the benefit of humanity.
Scott is an accomplished individual, successful executive, and philanthropic community leader. He has focused efforts on countering corporate bullies and provided cloud-based technologies to protect kids bullied in school and improve national education policy. He has worked to protect animals from abuse and he has helped communities fight toxic dumpers. He is a dynamic leader in conceiving and implementing technology-based strategies and products to drive innovation and raise the bar on operational efficiency.
Scott Douglas Redmond currently lives in San Francisco and is the President of Clever Industries, LLC, a company devoted to commercializing ventures and services for start-ups. He has worked with Fortune 2000 and Government 1000 companies including well-known names ABC-TV, IBM, Kodak, Sprint, FOX, BMW, Citicorp, Bank of America, AT&T, Warner Brothers, RCA Records, MCI Telecommunications, Coca Cola USA, Pepsi Cola, Samsung, the March of Dimes, the National Park Service, the Department of Energy, the US Department of the Army, the Port of San Francisco, and lesser known entities including George Lucas’s former internet director’s spin-off company, providing leading cloud-based media management solutions, and Xensys, an IT solution services company offering consulting, software as a service, and progress application hosting.
One of Scott’s favorite quotes is from the Roman philosopher and politician, Seneca, “Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.” By a measure of accomplishments, one may say Scott is a very lucky person because he has the perception skills to see opportunities in their entirety and has the expertise to develop them into tangible reality.
