The office of “Executive President”–you in? I am.

I have decided to consider a run as the Executive President of the United States (as a write-in candidate–of course).  Why? Because so many people have asked me to think about holding office.  I have an idea that just may work: When you cast a vote for me you actually get “two Presidents for the price of one!”

All of the above is tongue-in-cheek of course, but here’s how it can work:

The person who gets the most votes for President gets a job, but so does the person elected as Executive President.

The big difference here is the fact that all the other guy has to do is sit in the Oval office and do what his advisors tell him to do; I will work out in the public and only do what the taxpayers want, and need, me to do.

As it stands now, everyone in America has access to a phone, email, postal service, a library or some other way to communicate.  With someone like me in this (additional) office of “Executive President,” Americans will be able to communicate with me every hour of every day. I will post every issue on an official “Office of the Executive President” website and literally do the work that the majority of Americans vote on–for each and every issue, each and every day.

Working the office of President this way, we can run the country the way it was supposed to work–when they invented it in the 1700s.  I will present the majority win of American’s issue votes to every member of Congress so that they know what the real voters want. This way, if the members of Congress try to do certain things for special interest groups, it will be very obvious to every American and full disclosure will provoke the prompt recalls.

As I see it, there are just too many people in America now for any one person to claim to represent them all.  The way it used to work back in George Washington’s time (when there were not that many people around), obviously does not work today.

Running as the Executive President of the United States, I will also be the only candidate who offers a money back guarantee. Once elected, my goal will be to take the top 100 issues that Americans submit to me and get those done in the first 100 days.  If I don’t, I’s vow to refund my entire salary to the American taxpayers.

So if we want the next-generation in government transparency, a total crack-down on corruption and the first true majority representation in two decades. Why not write in SCOTT REDMOND, or any other hard-working executive, as your vote for the added office of Executive President. If you want a dramatic new way to get representation in Washington.rite in your vote on the “President” section of your ballot.

All this idea is in good fun, but I have to say that whether it’s me or someone else in office as the Executive President of the United States (“for the people and all the people” – would be a good slogan by the way), I would be that a lot of people will think it’s a great idea.
